The Hong Kong Chapter of Pacific Early Childhood Education Research Association (PECERA) organized a seminar on “Early Child Development: Myths and Facts” on April 19, 2010. The guest speaker, Dr. Chun-bong Chow, BBS, JP, is the Chairman of Hong Kong Early Childhood Development Foundation and Specialist in Paediatrics. Dr. Chow is the former Consultant Paediatrician of Princess Margaret Hospital before his retirement in March 2010. His research interest is in the brain development of children. Dr. Chow gave a very inspiring talk to the audience which included ECE academics, practitioners and parents.
